Just in Case Published in The 50-Word Stories of 2026
The 50-Word Stories of 2026, featuring Robert Pierosh’s micro-memoir Just in Case, is now available from Vine Leaves Press.
Compiled and edited by John McCaffrey, the book is the sixth annual anthology from Vine Leaves Press’ 50 Give or Take series, which challenges writers to tell a complete story in just fifty words.
The collection brings together dozens of writers and miniature works that range from poignant and playful to haunting and reflective -- all built around the possibilities of an extraordinarily small form.
Pierosh’s Just in Case, a fifty-word micro-memoir, was first published through 50 Give or Take on March 19, 2026, and is now collected in the 2026 print anthology.
