“Assassination Portraits” is my exploration of the connection between the assassinated and the assassin. Through these compositions, I aim to convey the idea that these two figures are forever linked by a single, historical moment. By portraying both the assassinated and the assassin in a similar manner, I have emphasized their shared humanity and the tragic circumstances that led to their fateful encounter.

Portraits are traditionally used to capture and immortalize a person’s likeness, but in this case, they also serve as a reminder of the unfortunate bond that exists between the assassinated and the assassin. By presenting both figures in a similar way, I have emphasized the idea that they are both victims of circumstance, and their lives have been forever altered by the events that brought them together. Through this artwork, I invite viewers to reflect on the complex nature of history and the interconnectedness of individuals and events.
